Founders & Entrepreneurs
Nyka was founded by six young men from Albania, Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, Ethiopia, and Germany.
Their goal is to be role models – the role models they themselves lacked.
nyka — the AI-first software studio from Germany — was not created despite this mindset, but because of it. The group consciously decided not just to talk about change, but to build it. With technology that works. With teams where generations do not talk past each other, but think together.
We accompanied them on one of their days in Düsseldorf.
“We believe that the best way to do this is by leading by example — and that is exactly how we try to embody what D-Brand itself stands for.”
They came together during and after their studies. Not by chance, but through a shared conviction: that performance and genuine collaboration are not opposites — and that it is time to make both cool again.

What drives them is a clear understanding of what is missing. Tradition and innovation, young and old, culture and nature — to them, these are not contradictions, but raw materials. And the vehicle for bringing them together is their companies. First and foremost: nyka.
The guys from Nyka decided early on to give the answer themselves – to be part of something that is bigger than themselves. The key they found in doing so: becoming strong enough as if you had to act alone. And then still choosing community.
We asked them what our motto “Show You Care” means to them.
Their answer was: “For us, it means something very concrete: leading the way. Not waiting for someone else to show how it is done. We are convinced that the I and the We belong together — and that performance only truly makes sense when it benefits others.”
For the six specialists, attitude is not just a word on paper. It is the way they run their companies, how they bring generations together — and how they show every day that both are possible: performance. And character.
