FELIX OLDENBURG I SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR
About money, responsibility, and the future.
We accompanied Felix Oldenburg for a day in Berlin.
The social entrepreneur and founder of bcause showed us places that hold special meaning for him. Berlin
is his home – the home of his children and also of his company.
Our journey began at Friedrichstraße. From there, we walked through Georgenstraße, past buildings whose
walls still bear traces of history today. In some places, bullet holes from the Second World War
are visible – silent reminders of how much past is embedded in this city.
Our path continued past the Pergamon Museum to Museum Island, where we finally stood in front of the James-
Simon Gallery. Between classical architecture, history, and modern Berlin, it becomes clear how closely
the past and the future are connected here.
For Felix, this is exactly what defines the unique character of this city.
